The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in an LA Car Crash

The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The renowned industry figure died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
