Devoted followers of the actress are calling for that a person who leaped a barricade and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A viral video depicts the Australian man bypassing camera operators and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed features videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Many followers criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said a further message on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised event staff at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.
